Trip Overview

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of Nepal’s most scenic and less-crowded trekking routes, ideal for travelers looking for a peaceful and authentic Himalayan experience. This 14-day trek circles Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world’s 8th highest peak, through remote valleys, traditional villages, and dramatic mountain landscapes.

Located in a restricted trekking region, the Manaslu Circuit requires special permits and a government-licensed trekking guide. A minimum of two trekkers is mandatory, which helps preserve the region’s culture and keeps the trail quiet and untouched.

The major highlight of the trek is crossing the stunning Larkya La Pass (5,106 m)—one of the most beautiful high passes in Nepal. From the top, trekkers enjoy breathtaking views of Manaslu,Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and the Annapurna range.

Throughout the journey, you will pass through lush forests, alpine meadows, rivers, waterfalls, monasteries, mani walls, and villages influenced by Tibetan culture. The trek ends in the Annapurna region, offering a perfect blend of wilderness, culture, and adventure.

The 14-Day Manaslu Circuit Trek is an excellent choice for trekkers who seek moderate adventure, natural beauty, and cultural richness away from the busy Everest and Annapurna trails.

Packing the right gear makes a big difference to your trekking experience. To keep things easy and comfortable, one porter is assigned for every two trekkers. Each porter carries a maximum of 22 kg, so the luggage allowance is 11 kg per trekker.

We recommend sharing a duffle bag (60+ liters) with your trekking partner for porter use. You should also carry a small daypack (20–30 liters) for valuables, documents, water, and daily essentials. Any extra luggage can be securely stored at your hotel free of charge during the trek.
